The room was spotless and contemporary, included with a patio as well as a balcony. We liked a stunning and marvellous position of this small hotel. Distance to the airport was just 30 km.

The staff were very nice
The room was filthy - loads of dust everywhere and generally really run down. Old saggy beds, peeling wallpaper, cracked bathroom tiles, etc. Looks like nothing had been spent on the rooms for an awfully long time and everything was really dated.

We enjoyed it and didn't want to leave. The hotel was pleasant and fabulous and just what we needed. The location a minute walk from city centre was marvellous and brilliant. The property was set in a lovely area.

The location was perfect, simply sit in the gardens and view the Thames wildlife and the boats passing by. The hotel is excellent and the food was very good quality and value for money. The staff went the extra mile to make you feel special. Listening to peacocks was different but when you take in your surroundings they are fitting for the look of th place. I will visit again.

It was deliciously quiet and in a stunning, island location. The well kept gardens and the river, are particularly beautiful.
A lost opportunity because of its' position, but it is so rundown. The interior desperately needs redecoration and upgrading... A total refurbishment. ( E.G. After searching, I found the fixed hairdryer hanging under a window sill, there was no mirror nearby and I couldn't move the hairdryer!)

The setting was lovely and very paceful apart from the peacock! Staff where great. So friendly and efficient. The grounds are really well cared for. Fab!
The Peacock! Oh they are really pretty but they squarked all night. Please think about perhaps housing them somewhere over night. My room was very warm and the windows had been painted shut so I couldn't open them.

Beautiful location on island on the river, swans, ducks and peacocks (which were noisy at night!)
The person in front of us told reception his shower didn't work - they didn't seem bothered. They did write down that the lid on the kettle in our room wasn't secure - boiling water leaked from lid as it poured.

The receptionist giving us colmplimentary tea, coffee and biscuits when the key to our room couldn't be found straightaway

its a quirky location, nice and quiet and not a 'high street ' hotel . Ducks and Peacocks roaming the grounds you could be in the country not the m4 corridor!
reception and stair carpet is threadbare, but as the rooms have been done assuming they are getting around to it?

The complimentary mini bar and personalized welcome note on arrival added a delightful touch. Experiencing the beautiful views of the Thames from our terrace made our stay truly memorable.
